Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America: The “Man v. Food” host travels the country in a new series that is part cooking competition and part travelogue (9 and 9:30 p.m. Travel).

Royal Pains: As the fourth season begins, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) embarks on a fresh start with his medical practice and separates from his brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), who starts his own venture. Reshma Shetty also stars (9 p.m. USA).

Necessary Roughness: Callie Thorne returns as Long Island therapist Dr. Dani Santino (10 p.m. USA).

SPECIALS

2012 CMT Music Awards: The broadcast will feature performances by Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Pistol Annies, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Hank Williams Jr. and the Zac Brown Band (8 p.m. CMT).
