Surfer-dude contractor David Walton and uptight lawyer Amanda Peet put the rom in the com in this excellent yet quickly abandoned and blown-through series that also gave Jeffrey Tambor good things to do. Walton may age out of the man-boy parts he still strikes casting agents as born to play before one of them ever gets traction, but, really, he has got that thing down.
