'The Office'( Chris Haston / AP / May 20, 2013 )
Like the series, "The Office" finale was both random and sweet. As fans hoped, Steve Carell (Michael Scott) made an appearance to substitute for Jim (John Krasinski) as Dwight's last-minute best man.
"Best prank ever," Jim said of his final stunt. Carell had two lines, the first, "That's what she said." And the second, looking over Dwight's wedding reception, was, "I feel like all my kids grew up and then they married each other. It's every parent's dream." But the final word went to Pam (Jenna Fischer), revealing why "The Office" had been worth watching for nine seasons. "There's a lot of beauty in ordinary things," she said. "Isn't that the point?" |
