By providing camp scholarship donations, you help kids, ages 7-17, develop a sense of confidence and control over their lives. Camp is a place where a positive perspective can finally be discovered – an experience thousands of young people will carry with them long after the last nature hike, sing-a-long or marshmallow roast.


The McCormick Foundation will match every donation in 2008 at 50 cents on the dollar. In addition, the Los Angeles Times and the McCormick Foundation absorb all administrative costs. That means 100% of your donation and the entire matching funds will go directly to summer camp scholarships.

Gifts of $100 or more received by 9/1/2008 will be listed in the Los Angeles Times unless anonymity is requested.
