The Festival of Books contracts with several local and reputable hotels to secure favorable room rates for Festival authors, exhibitors, sponsors and attendees visiting from outside the Los Angeles area.
When making reservations please ask for the group rate for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books in order to receive the special discount.
All reservations must be made individually with your own credit card. Hotel rooms cannot be booked under the name of the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. When booking with The W Hotel, a credit card is mandatory to cover incidentals.
The Hotel Angeleno provides free shuttle service to and from the UCLA campus. Call the front desk to arrange for pickup.

UCLA Guest House
The UCLA Guest House is a 61-room, non-smoking hotel. Guest rooms have either one queen bed or a queen and a twin bed, and all have private bathrooms. There are some rooms available with kitchenettes and a limited number of rooms designed for guests with disabilities. Each guest room includes a direct-dial phone with free local calls (within 12 miles), cable television, a desk, wireless access, Ethernet ports, and personal amenities including a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Complimentary continental breakfast is available to guests in the hotel lobby each morning. A coffee bar is available throughout out the day. Ice and vending machines and a guest laundry room are located on the premises.

Note: Due to the limited number of rooms available – UCLA Guest House has a high probability of being completely booked several months in advance of the event dates. If you wish to secure a room, please confirm room availability right away. The UCLA Guest House is a non-profit public institution that is chartered to serve the temporary housing needs of those affiliated with or doing business at UCLA or the UCLA Medical Center. Our inventory of rooms is small and the University demand is quite high. Because of this, your visit will need to be qualified.
