Booth # 304
South of Royce Hall and North of Powell Library
We hope that book lovers and Times’ readers alike will want to make the Los Angeles Times Pavilion one of their frequent stops at this year’s Festival.
The following activities will be taking place in the Pavilion:
• Los Angeles Times Live Stage
We bring the pages of The Times to life with
talks featuring journalists Sandy Banks, Geoff Boucher,
Steve Lopez and Russ Parsons plus some very
special quests.
• “What you are reading?” Project
All weekend long, we turn our video camera lens
on Festival attendees and ask them to tell us
about the book(s) they are reading. Attendees can
watch their video logs on latimes.com/festival
during and after the festival. In addition attendees
can scribe their book thoughts to the “What are you
reading?” giant graffiti wall.
• Eric Carle signing area
Eric Carle is the creator of this year’s Festival artwork
and the author and illustrator of more than seventy
books. He will be signing ’09 Festival merchandise only
