Did Marco has a problem and needs your help. His little sister's birthday is in four weeks and he wants to buy her a video game. It costs $41 but he only has $17. Marco figures he can save $6 per week by saving his allowance and not buying junk food on the way home from school. He needs to know two things: How many weeks will it take him to save up the $41, and will he have enough money saved in time for his sister's birthday?

Let's look at it this way. Marco's savings starts at $17 and increases by $6 each week. From this information, it is easy to make a number table, starting with $17 and adding $6 with each passing week:
Weeks Savings
0 $17
1 $23
2 $29
3 $35

What do you think? Will Marco be able to buy the video game? (See answer below.)
