"The Team Think Blue program is an excellent example of how strong strategic alliances and partnerships can have a significant impact on a community," said Dodger Vice Chairman and President Jamie McCourt. Through this program more than 300,000 students will receive important information about how to live a healthier life and improve their language skills at the same time."

As part of the Team Think Blue program, teachers will receive a newspaper-based teaching guide and student copies of the Los Angeles Times delivered to their classroom from March through June, free of charge. Teachers also receive copies of a supplemental parent guide to send home, which is available in both English and Spanish. Participating students and classrooms can enter an art and essay contest for a chance to win prizes and Dodger tickets. The winners of this year's contest are shown below:

"The Los Angeles Times in Education is proud to partner with the Dodgers Dream Foundation and Kaiser Permanente to provide Team Think Blue to Southern California classrooms", said Kathleen Graham Headly, Senior Times in Education Manager.
