in the Newspaper On any given day, a photographer may have to cover a press conference indoors, an auto accident outdoors, an interview subject, a sporting event under artificial lights or an event during bad weather. Times photographers use Canon and Nikon digital cameras for almost every assignment and may return to the plant to download images to CDs. Film is rarely used anymore.
