Scuba Dive Pool Lessons and Demos

If you've always wanted to try the sport of scuba diving, the Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show is the perfect place to get your feet wet. Just bring your bathing suit and your sense of adventure. The Scuba Tour will provide everything else, including towels, wetsuits, masks and air tanks. A dip in the Scuba Pool is FREE. People aged 10 and over are welcome to try out the sport of scuba diving in the 4 feet deep, 18 x 30 foot, 18,000 gallon scuba pool. You can also play with an underwater scooter, mp3 players, and water sports--all while underwater! All equipment and instruction from a certified diving instructor will be provided, as will mirrors and hair dryers. Each person who gets in the pool receives a free digital photo of their experience and an interactive CD-ROM about scuba diving.
 

Rock Wall
Provided by Tenaya Lodge

Tenya Lodge at the Yosemite booth invites you test your endurance on the rock wall. Experienced professionals will be on hand to ensure your safety for this experience. The wall is 25 ft high and offers different routes and levels of difficulty to accommodate a range of skill levels.
 

Surf Simulator

Surfs up Dude! Ride this wild surfboard that has 10 speeds from slow to bionic, and players to compete to see who can ride the longest, wildest or at the highest speed.
