A Cure for the Blues

Who knew that three bald, earless, mute guys who are coated in blue paint and do odd things with PVC pipe and marshmallows could be so much fun? The show takes place in its own custom-built theater inside the Venetian (BMG is the first permanent act at the resort), and is an impossibly enthralling fusion of multimedia theatrics, dense percussive riffs and physical humor. Is it about universal human truths? Science? Our loss of innocence? Making art by spitting paint-filled gumballs? Who knows? The audience doesn’t seem to care.
