Emmy-winner Wayne Brady has his finger in so many pies — comedy, acting, singing — that it’s hard to categorize him. These days, he’s found a home for himself on the Strip with his variety show “Making It Up.” What makes the show so good, writes The Times’ Richard Abowitz, is Brady’s ability to meld old-school Vegas entertainment with new-Vegas cool.
