The event: In a tent beside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the Weinstein Co. threw a lively after-party bash, which drew many of the biggest stars who had attended the Golden Globe Awards. There, the champagne flowed, as did the Fiji Water, a sponsor of the effervescent affair.

The crowd: After winning for lead actress in a dramatic TV series for “House of Cards” on Netflix, Robin Wright said she was still in shock. Looking especially elegant in her backless beaded frock, she and new fiancé Ben Foster then spent much of the night dancing.

Leonardo DiCaprio, another of the night’s victors, stopped by, his Golden Globe in hand. (He got the lead actor in a movie comedy or musical nod for “The Wolf of Wall Street.”) And Bono, on arriving, made a beeline for party host Harvey Weinstein, who cheerfully welcomed his steady stream of VIP guests.

Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson and CAA’s Kevin Huvane were among those sharing a sofa marked “August: Osage County.” This group too took a moment to dance.

The high-spirited soiree also drew Steve Coogan, writer and star of “Philomena,” another Weinstein film; plus Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Christoph Waltz, Taylor Swift, Kevin Spacey, Aaron Paul, Heidi Klum, Kerry Washington, Bradley Cooper, Corey Stoll, Sean P. Diddy Combs, Usher, Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale, Les Moonves and Julie Chen, Kristin Chenoweth and Dana Brunetti, Dermot Mulroney and Tharita Catulle, and more.

The scene: Never mind that there wasn’t a dance floor. The upbeat music moved many to dance between the seating areas. And for anyone feeling the need for a touch-up, Laura Mercier make-up artists delivered quick fixes from inside a make-up booth, during the long party-packed evening.
