Britney Spears says she’s designing a lingerie collection

Britney Spears announced via Instagram that she has designed a lingerie line called the Intimate Collection that is “coming soon.”

Hermes has hired Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski to replace Christophe Lemaire as artistic director for women’s ready to wear. She is currently design director at the Row and has worked at Maison Martin Margiela and Celine. Lemaire is leaving the house to focus on his own label. [New York Times]

Artist Catherine Young is using perfume to make a point. She’s created the Ephemeral Marvels Perfume Store, a line of fragrance dedicated to the scents of eight things -- including honey, wine and coffee -- that may vanish as climate change takes its toll on various species of flora and fauna. Christian Louboutin’s first entry into the beauty field, nail polish, is due to go on sale in August. Among the 30 shades is one, Rouge Louboutin, inspired by the shoe designer’s signature red soles -- which is fitting, since, according to WWD, the red sole itself was inspired by a bottle of nail polish.
