ABC announced that Diane Sawyer’s long-awaited interview with Bruce Jenner has been scheduled to air April 24 at 9 p.m. EDT. It’s widely believed that the Olympic champion, reality TV star and Kardashian-Jenner clan patriarch is trangender and beginning to transition to life as a woman, and that he will go public about it in the interview. An ABC spokesman said Sawyer questions Jenner about the issue -- but wouldn’t say how he answers. [Los Angeles Times]

Dermatologist Frederic Brandt, known for treating celebrity clients including Madonna and Kelly Ripa and beauty mavens such as Allure Editor-in-Chief Linda Wells -- and who was sometimes called the Baron of Botox -- died Sunday at his home in Coral Gables, Fla., at age 65. Brandt was upset by comparisons to Martin Short’s eccentric dermatologist character in the new Tina Fey Netflix series “The Unbreakable Kimmy Grant.” The show upset him, but wasn’t why he chose to take his own life, sources told People. [People]
