ABC announced that Diane Sawyer’s long-awaited interview with Bruce Jenner has been scheduled to air April 24 at 9 p.m. EDT. It’s widely believed that the Olympic champion, reality TV star and Kardashian-Jenner clan patriarch is trangender and beginning to transition to life as a woman, and that he will go public about it in the interview. An ABC spokesman said Sawyer questions Jenner about the issue -- but wouldn’t say how he answers. [Los Angeles Times]
Dermatologist Frederic Brandt, known for treating celebrity clients including Madonna and Kelly Ripa and beauty mavens such as Allure Editor-in-Chief Linda Wells -- and who was sometimes called the Baron of Botox -- died Sunday at his home in Coral Gables, Fla., at age 65.
