Chanel boutique reopens at South Coast Plaza

Share

Chanel opened its redesigned boutique at South Coast Plaza last Thursday.

The boutique, a go-to destination at the mall since 1990, has been redesigned by architect Peter Marino to be airy and modern. The color palette is inspired by the sea, inluding coral-inspired lilacs and pinks set against signature Chanel shades of black, white and gold, which are seen in custom fabrics.

The 9,000-square-foot boutique features an installation by contemporary abstract artist Nancy Lorenz, rock crystal screens by artist Christophe Côme and Maison d’Art Goossens chandeliers.
