Coachella 2014: Cynthia Vincent hosts poolside fashion blogger brunch

The event: Cynthia Vincent took a break from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday afternoon to host a poolside brunch at a private residence at Racquet Club Estates in Palm Springs.

The scene: Guests lounged on soft pillows in a house that opened onto a large backyard with a glistening pool. You could make your own drink at the Bloody Mary bar, then take it outside to catch a couple of rays.

A tepee full of boho-chic blankets with fringe, pillows and chairs served as the perfect backdrop for photos. Vincent walked around the party in an embroidered caftan, greeting guests, arranging decorations and setting out towels for those hot enough to take a dip in the pool.

The crowd: It was a who’s who of fashion bloggers, with every major player in attendance. Aimee Song of the blog Songofstyle.com, dressed in white lace-trim shorts, came with her sister Dani Song, who wore a floral print top and shorts. The two chatted with Julie Sarinana of the blog SincerelyJules.com.

Rachel Nguyen of the blog Thatschic.net took a dip in the pool and caught up with Jenny Ong of NeonBlush.com.

Katie Arnold, author of The-Style-Riot.com, Olivia Lopez of Lustforlife.com, blogger Stephanie Liu of Honeynsilk.com and Sheryl Luke of WalkinWonderland.com were alsoon hand.

Quote of note: “I was actually really impressed with guys,” Vincent said of this year’s Coachella standouts. “There were far more guys that inspired me. I have designed a new Coachella bag just from being here this year. I’ll debut it next Coachella. It’s going to have hidden pockets to hold your water.”
