Estee Lauder threw a party to tout its new Modern Muse fragrance Thursday night at the Guggenheim museum in New York City. Fashion editors and designers came with their own muses; for instance, Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Amy Astley brought actress Hailee Steinfeld, InStyle Editor-in-Chief Ariel Foxman brought actress Drew Barrymore (though she was snapped on the red carpet snuggling with her husband, Will Kopelman), Elle Creative Director Joe Zee brought model Hilary Rhoda, W magazine Editor Stefano Tonchi was there with model Carolyn Murphy. And model Arizona Muse, the face of Modern Muse, was surrounded by Estee Lauder executives. [Daily Mail]

Sarah Jessica Parker showed her new shoe collection to a small group of editors in New York on Thursday. The shoes will be available only at Nordstrom, starting in January, and one is named the Carrie in honor of her “Sex and the City” character. [Fashionista]
