Trick-or-treat for Halloween at Malibu Country Mart

Malibu Country Mart is decked out with pumpkins and hay bales and is planning special Halloween activities Thursday for kids.

Some stores are offering trick-or-treating from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Participating shops will display a Halloween balloon.)

The Jester Court will be the site of a children’s costume contest at 6 p.m., and the lucky winner will receive a $100 gift certificate.

The shopping center is at 3835 Cross Creek Road, Malibu.

Openings

Aura Cycle has opened Aura Yoga in Sunset Plaza. The studio features Hot Flow and Restorative classes developed by master yogi Jake Ferree, a patent-pending lighting system and Zebra Mat flooring for more friction and shock absorption. Aura Yoga is at 8608 Sunset Blvd., Suite A, West Hollywood. It is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and classes start at $22. Phone (323) 570-0570.
