Kendall and Kylie Jenner launch summer PacSun collection

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s summer collection for PacSun is set to go on sale starting Saturday, and to mark the occasion, they plan to make personal appearances at a couple of local stores this week.

It’s the second Kendall & Kylie Collection from Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian’s youngest sisters, following their debut effort in February. The clothes reflect the teenagers’ personal style: fun and young. Pieces include high-waist shorts, cut-out dresses, graphic tanks, crop tops and swimsuits, with prices ranging from $29.50 to $62.50.

Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, are slated to introduce the collection at 3 p.m. Friday at the PacSun at 1446 3rdStreet Promenade, Santa Monica. They are also to appear at noon Saturday at the PacSun at Brea Mall, 1050 Brea Mall, Brea.

The collection will be available in PacSun stores and on its website.

Events

The Echo Park Craft Fair is this weekend in the Storefront Bazaar space downtown at 821 E. 3rdSt. Dozens of brands, including Clare Vivier, Beatrice Valenzuela, Tanya Aguinaga and Black Crane, are scheduled to participate. Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Silk Street Trading Co. is bringing a one-day bazaar of Indian fashion and jewelry to Orange County from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The event is to be at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, 1107 Jamboree Road. Admission is free, but email RSVP@SilkStreetTrading.com to reserve.

Brad Goreski of Bravo’s “It’s a Brad, Brad World” has another title: Old Navy’s Style Attendant. Goreski will be on hand to offer summer styling tips at Old Navy’s 3rd Street Promenade store from 6 to 8 p.m. May 14. The store is at 1232 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica.

Fashion-forward, tech-savvy women are invited to network with fashion and beauty industry experts at new monthly Simply Stylist Sessions. The first of these panel discussions and after-parties is scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. May 15 at the Americana at Brand. Panelists are to include Alexis Johnson, deputy editor of Los Angeles Confidential; celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson; and blogger Chriselle Lim of the Chriselle Factor. Tickets are available for purchase at www.simplystylist.com for $35 for admission to the panel only and $50 for the panel and after-party. The event is sponsored by Nordstrom and Katsuya.

Windsor is having a three-day sample sale of women’s clothing, jewelry, handbags and shoes starting Wednesday at company headquarters, 4533 Pacific Blvd., Vernon. Prices are great, with jewelry for $1, dresses for $7 and other items in between. It’s cash only, and hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Seven Bloomingdale’s in Southern California have partnered with Clarins on a program to raise money for the John Wayne Cancer Instituteat Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. Through the month of May, 5% of sales on select Clarins products purchased at the stores will be donated to support the institute’s research on skin cancer. The products include Clarins extra firming day wrinkle lifting cream, extra firming night rejuvenating cream, beauty flash balm, UV plus HP SPF 40 day screen and UV plu HP SPF 40 day screen tint. The participating Bloomingdale’s are in Santa Monica, the Beverly Center, Century City, Sherman Oaks, Fashion Island in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and Fashion Valley in San Diego. In addition, Dr. Delphine Lee is scheduled to make an appearance at 1 p.m. May 18 at the Santa Monica Bloomingdale’s to offer tips on detecting and preventing skin cancer.

Burning Torch is hosting a shopping event to benefit P.S. Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring arts education in public schools. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the flagship boutique, 1627 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, and online. Purchases will be 10% off during the event.

Women’s contemporary brand XCVI, designed in downtown Los Angeles, has opened a summer-long pop-up shop at Santa Monica Place, 395 Santa Monica Place, Santa Monica. The shop includes a mixed-media art installation by Susan Feldman.
