Big hair, big style as Miranda Lambert sets CMA Awards record

Miranda Lambert made history at the Country Music Assn. Awards on Wednesday night, winning in four categories to become -- with a lifetime total of 11 trophies -- the most decorated female artist in CMA Awards history. She seemed to spend a lot of time during the evening changing clothes. (Between arriving on the red carpet, performing and accepting awards in categories including female vocalist of the year and album of the year, she wore at least six different outfits.) [Yahoo]

Rocker Joan Jett’s name will be on a new line of clothing at Hot Topic -- Joan Jett for Tripp NYC. She’s developing the line with Tripp designers Daang and Ray Goodman. “Daang and Ray really get my styles and I didn’t have to do the nuts and bolts of the design,” Jett told WWD. “They take my essence and translate my vibe and we go from there.” [WWD]
