Get ‘Back to the Future’ with burgers + beer at Americana at Brand
“Back to the Future” marks its 30th anniversary this year, and the Americana at Brand is celebrating with an outdoor showing of the film and picnic on Thursday.
Tickets are $20 for the event, called Burgers + Beer + “Back to the Future.” Admission includes sliders, fries and two beers; there also will be a cash bar. Check-in begins at 6 p.m., and you must be 21 or older to attend.
Bring blankets for lawn seating; no chairs allowed. The mall is at 889 Americana Way, Glendale.
Openings
Italian menswear brand Isaia has opened its first flagship store in the U.S. at 9527 Brighton Way in Beverly Hills. The boutique includes a custom tailor shop encased in glass so shoppers can watch, a vintage Campari bar, a red lacquered piano to be used as a made-to-measure table (or played) and a VIP room. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
