Beyoncé wears Gucci with Blue Ivy in Paris

Gucci: not just for grown-ups anymore. Mommy-and-me dressing was taken to new heights by Beyoncé — who else? — and her daughter Blue Ivy when the superstar posted photos to her personal web site showing a rather chic approach to matching mother-daughter attire. Pictured in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower every-so-casually peeking out in the background, the photos show Beyoncé and Blue Ivy in coordinating floral-printed turquoise Guccidresses.

It seems Gucci might be a favorite of young Blue Ivy; her aunt, Solange, posted a photo to Instagram of her niece in a bright pink Gucci dress, writing “Gucci campaigns can’t even touch her w a pinky toe.” If Alessandro Michele is looking for a new campaign face, it looks like Solange has cast her vote.

Beyoncé was in the French capital on a break from her worldwide Formation World Tour. Throughout the course of the tour she’s worn Balmain. Of dressing the star for her tour, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing told WWD, “Beyoncé is the symbol of freedom, the power of women and the confidence of extraordinary talent. The Balmain army becomes the Beyoncé army. I love it when my couture meets music.” She wore a custom Julien Macdonald bodysuit to perform at the BET Awards in June, and while accepting the Fashion Icon Award at the 2016 CFDAs, she was in a Givenchy suit.

This is not Beyoncé’s first brush with Gucci; earlier this year, amid all the “Lemonade” drama, she appeared in a Gucci dress in her “Formation” video, which was worn by rumored “Becky with the good hair” Rita Ora days later. Oh, the drama!
