Kylie Jenner plans to open a makeup pop-up shop in Canoga Park

Kylie Jenner is the latest celebrity to jump on the pop-up bandwagon. The reality TV star and beauty maven personally designed the temporary space — parts of it will supposedly look like her bedroom — at the Westfield Topanga shopping center in Canoga Park.

Until now, Kylie Cosmetics’ line of beauty products was only sold online.

According to a media release, the pop-up store will open for business Dec. 9 and stay open for as long as there are products left to sell.

Judging from previous records, that might not be very long. In 2015, when Jenner announced the debut of her signature beauty product, the Kylie Lip Kit, to her 100 million social media followers, the kits reportedly sold out within minutes.

In addition to the kits, the much-hyped line includes single glosses and lipsticks as well as eye shadows and eyeliners, which are typically priced from $29 to $42.

The pop-up will sell holiday-themed offerings including sparkling creme eye shadows, silver boxed gift sets and furry white stockings stuffed with products that can be pulled off an in-store tree like ornaments.

The temporary location could drive shoppers into the shopping center, which also houses established brands such as Louis Vuitton and Tory Burch.

In a media release, Westfield’s chief marketing officer, Heather Vandenberghe, described Jenner as a “cultural and commercial force who embodies the L.A. lifestyle.”

Starting Dec. 9, Kylie Cosmetics’ pop-up shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday; www.kyliecosmetics.com.
