Seven ill-advised books for your Valentine
On Thursday, many loving couples will be saying Happy Valentine's Day! Some will be giving flowers or chocolates or spa visits or home-cooked meals or meals out at fancy restaurants -- all in the spirit of love. And there is probably someone -- maybe just one person -- who will find an academic, feminist take on pornography truly titillating. But in case you're making a swift visit to a bookstore for a last-minute gift, beware: The following books are not recommended as gifts for Valentine's Day.

'How to Think More About Sex'( Picador )
"How to Think More About Sex" covers "lust, fetishism, adultery, and pornography," the back cover tells us, and author Alain de Botton "frankly articulates the dilemmas of modern sexuality." That's all well and good, but the title may imply the wrong thing to your partner.
