For Emilia Clarke, being the Queen of Dragons on “Game of Thrones” has opened some pretty serious doors.

“It opened them all,” the 28-year-old actress tells Harper’s Bazaar, which features her on its June/July cover.

The high-profile role of Sarah Connor in “Terminator Genisys” was on the other side of one of those portals -- but there’s been some good old-fashioned amazement on the other side as well.

First off, there’s the spectacle of it all. “That’s my face; it’s on that television,” she says excitedly, then catches herself: “‘It’s not TV, it’s HBO.’” And to be honest, she says, even though she plays “GoT’s” Daenerys Targaryen, she expects it to be the “Sex & the City” theme song that starts playing.

Also, there are some cooler-than-usual co-workers these days, like Arnold Schwarzenegger on “Genisys,” which when it opens July 1 will continue the saga made famous by the original Terminator.

“It never gets old. He was so much fun,” Clarke tells the magazine. “I expected this massive ego to turn up, but he is this charming, sweet, kind man. He got really excited to film the scenes.”

(Also, it seems that when she name-drops now, people take it fairly seriously, even when she might be joking. “Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyoncé, or something. I don’t know,” she says with a laugh when discussing the fate of the show’s three dragon eggs, which she admits she tried unsuccessfully to snake. But when that quote hit the Internet on Tuesday, some were taking it as confirmation that Queen Bey actually owns some of Queen Daenerys’ memorabilia. Hey, Jay, if you’re reading this, why not drop a Benjamin and get the wife a set of three?)

And then there’s Clarke’s real life, which has taken a turn for the surreal.

“Someone took a fantasy in my head and played it in real life,” the Emmy nominee says, casting her memory back to an unspecified award season. “I was at a Golden Globes after-party and Channing ... Tatum came up to me, and his stunning missus, Jenna. And they said, ‘We call each other “moon of my life” and “my sun and stars” and all that.’”

Those, of course, are versions of the names Clarke’s Khaleesi and her beloved Dothraki husband, Khal Drogo, called each other during their brief but intense arranged marriage on “Thrones” -- and the actress was immediately in love.

“I was like, ‘I cannot contain this. Please, can we all have something sexual together? You’re both beautiful, even just a hug.’”
