Grand Unveiling of the pavilion: Principal conductor Carlos Kalmar leads the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus in this concert featuring works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and Copland; world premiere of John Corigliano's "Midsummer Fanfare," commissioned for the occasion.

Redmoon Theater installation of lanterns, fire and film.
10:15 p.m. to midnight
Harris Theater Rooftop Terrace: Fulcrum Point New Music Project (10:15 to 11 p.m.). Fareed Haque & The Indo-Pak Jazz Coalition with Goran Ivanovic and Kahil El Zabar (11:10 p.m. to midnight).
6:30 to 9:45 a.m.
Sunrise Citywide Workout, Great Lawn. Fitness instruction in yoga, tai chi and Caribbean rhythms. Tai chi led by master Jianhua Guo (7 to 7:45 a.m.). Yoga led by Tom Quinn (8 to 8:45 a.m.). Caribbean rhythms led by Aida Johnson (9 to 9:45 a.m.).
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Park tours every 30 minutes from locations throughout the park, led by Chicago Architecture Foundation docents.
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Grant Park Orchestra open rehearsal, Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
