Free gnudi and more for National Pasta Month and Noodle Day

Scarpetta in Beverly Hills is kicking off National Pasta Month with chef Scott Conant’s famous gnudi pasta. During the first week of October, the restaurant will have “Gnudi Gnite” every night. Guests will receive a free tasting of the gnudi Parmigiano along with their meal. Following the first week of the month, “Gnudi Gnite” will take place every Sunday evening. RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen in Century City is celebrating National Noodle Day Oct. 6 with an exclusive one-day menu. Executive Chef Mohan Ismail created a noodle-centric menu with eight dishes including longevity noodles, Chiang Mai curry noodles and wok-fried mapo egg noodles. Drago Centro is holding a pasta cooking class at the restaurant’s Vault exhibition kitchen in downtown Los Angeles on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. The two-hour class, taught by Chef Ian Gresik will go over how to make, roll and cook fresh pasta, and will include passed hors d’oeuvres, pasta tastings full entrees, pours of wine and a special chef’s gift bag. Tickets are $140 per person and cover the entire evening. The class is capped at 30 people and reservations must be booked ahead of time.
