Fig & Olive will debut its new spa-inspired "mocktails" during brunch for Memorial Day weekend. The "mocktails" ($10 each) are made with no alcohol. The drinks include a spiced orchards made with cloudy apple juice, muddled Thai basil and lemon, ginger and lime juice; the banane et orange made with orange juice, muddle banana, fresh ginger, lemon juice and clover honey; and the jardin de fraises with kefir clover, muddled strawberries and fig, clover honey and fig balsamic. Guelaguetza restaurant is teaming up with the Hola Mexico Film FestivalMezcalistasChef Rodolfo Castellanos and filmmaker Pedro Jimenez for dinner, mezcal and a screening of "Viva Mezcal." In the documentary, biologists, agronomists, maestros mezcaleros, bartenders and other experts weigh in on the politics surrounding mezcal. The Napa Valley Grille is offering a special wine dinner with Executive Chef Taylor Boudreaux and Trefethen Family Vineyards on May 15 at 6:30 p.m. The four-course menu will include a Dungeness crab salad paired with a '12 dry Riesling; a roast chicken roulade with a '10 Chardonnay; crispy lamb belly with a '10 Merlot; braised veal short ribs with a '10 Cabernet; and an apricot tart tatin with an '09 late harvest Riesling.
