The new Marina del Rey restaurant has prepared a tasting menu to showcase many of its modern preparations. Dishes such as chicken-fried watermelon and pork belly with root beer jello are interspersed with more traditional fare of grilled polenta and asparagus or duck with dried cherries and a red wine reduction. Taking reservations between 5 and 9:30 p.m. $75 and $125 with wine pairings.

New Year's Eve dinner features dishes such as tuna tartare and fried piquillo pepper, sea bass with squash and onion confit or a New York steak with red wine sauce, and a creamed spinach tart. There are two seatings: 5:30 to 7 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. The first offers a three-course menu for $45, and the second a four-course menu for $65 that includes a Champagne toast and caviar.
