For less than $30, you can drink a Pinot that tastes as if it cost much more. Rich and round, the 2008 is an intense beauty with a strong cool-climate Oregon character. It has elegance and grace and is a wonderful match for pretty much any food you want to put in front of it.
I like it with a fish in red wine sauce, a classic quiche Lorraine or chicken pot pie and, of course, a rotisserie duck or chicken.
