  • As I've grown older, my life really has gotten better because although I'm not driving yet, I still have a little bit more freedom now.

  • I was 20 years old when my father died after his 5th heart attack, at age 58. I have been determined to live pass age 58. Now, I'm 60 years old and I'am a "Legacy Runner" with the L.A. Marathon. I meditate (dhamma.org) everyday for 2 hours. My wife is a Devout Christian and rarely ever reads anything other than the Bible. I took a chance and asked her to read your article. She read it and said it was very inspirational to her. Thank you Shari for a great article and I shall pass it on. Metta

  • yes ,it has. I came to this country as a cuban refugee at age 16.[, in 1962 ]. I literally kiss the ground every day and thank the Lord for the opportunity to live here and pursue my dreams. I will be eternally gratefull to all the wonderfull americans who welcomed me. Do not take freedom for granted. To be born in the United States is a priceless gift. Be thankfull. God BLESS AMERICA

  • I'm 62. I've watched my parents age. In early old age, they were happier. They were free of responsibility and financially comfortable. They had a great time. In their later age, however, when their bodies failed, they grew quite depressed. I suspect most people in assisted living facilities or worse should be on anti-depressants.
