Artists and designers Eric Trine and Will Bryant begin showcasing their collaborative works Saturday at the Poketo store in downtown Los Angeles. ("Alley-Oop") |
This time Trine is collaborating with illustrator Will Bryant, and the two Portland-based artists are calling the showing and sale of their work "Alley-Oop." The designs premiere at an opening reception Saturday at Poketo.
The collection includes beach chair versions of Trine's original latticed design, as well as wall hangings, mug cozies and graphic tees ($12 to $30 apiece). Geometric, powder-coated sculptural pieces ($150 to $200) include a great little side table with magazine storage. Poketo co-founder Angie Myung described "Alley-Oop" as "infused with wit and humor."
The Saturday reception is open to the public and runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at Poketo, 820 E. 3rd St.
