( Russ McConnell ) The guest bedroom was decorated by Ryan Brown, familiar to viewers of the Bravo series "Flipping Out." Though the soaring vaulted ceiling was nice, the bed was backed up against a low wall. "Ultimately putting a row of art above the bed framed it perfectly," Brown said. The chandelier, from Paul Marra in Los Angeles, echoes the bobbin design of the bed. The hanging chair, from Fusion Home in Ventura, originally was intended for the balcony. "At the last minute we decided to put it in the corner," Brown said. "As much as you plan, inevitably you will move things around. Design must always be fluid." The patterned carpet is from the Rug Company. |
