At a Champagne reception prior to the Giorgio Armani Prive show in Paris on Tuesday, Milla Jovovich caught up with fellow haute couture aficionados. A regular at the Paris shows, the “Resident Evil” star glittered in an aquamarine Armani jacket.

Naomie Harris, too, came outfitted in Armani, in her case in a white confection of a top that revealed a peek of midriff. Before heading for her seat, the Bond girl from “Skyfall” said she was very much looking forward to the show.

Gelila Assefa Puck and her superchef husband, Wolfgang Puck, took the opportunity to introduce friends to Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, the honoree at a dinner the Pucks will be hosting at Spago in Beverly Hills on Oct. 24 to benefit the “Dream for Future Africa Foundation.”

All guests, including Catherine Deneuve and Roberta Armani, soon took their seats beside the runway inside the Theatre National de Chaillot to await the show, this year titled “Nude.”

Probably his most elegant and spectacular couture show to date, Giorgio Armani sent out a sensual array of gowns, suits and fluid pants in the softest of shades. If not strictly nude, the collection featured a generous helping of pale pink, along with an occasional beige or light gray, spiced up with black numbers, and here and there, an eye-catching sparkle courtesy of woven gold filigree, rhinestones or richly embroidered gold microbaguettes.
