Beachwear begs for a golden glow, and makeup that flatters it. Start with a minimalist take on foundation: Apply it sparingly, or use only concealer so the look is light and your skin color shines through. Then layer on sheer colors to create a ยwashย effect on cheeks, eyes and lips. If you opt for a shimmer or frost, stay away from cool metals and go for golden tones to enhance the warmth of bronzed skin. For nails, that means shimmering corals or frosted cocoa colors. For lips, try a pale, tinted gloss in a peachy coral, baby pink or sheer nude, which give a natural-looking shine with color that glows along with your tan.
