Openings

DecadesTwo Now reopened: The sister store to Decades, L.A.’s vintage mecca, is double the pleasure it used to be. After a grueling expansion, the space is 3,000 square feet. This means about 1,000 new items have been added to the collection of 1990s-to-the-present consignment pieces from designers such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Chloé, YSL and Marc Jacobs — often at 80% off the original price. Want specifics? Check out the store blog, www.decadestwo.blogspot.com. After all, it is a 21st century consignment store. 8214 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles; (323) 655-1960; www.decadestwo.com. Monday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., or by appointment.

Theory Now open: Last week the sleek brand that can be worn for just about any occasion opened a free-standing boutique on Melrose Avenue (Theory also has stores in Century City and South Coast Plaza). 8424 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood; (323) 782-0163. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sun., noon to 6 p.m.
