Water splashes over smooth stones as the warm grass whistles in the wind. I bury my feet under a warm sheet of sand.

Water splashes over smooth stones as the warm grass whistles in the wind.
I bury my feet under a warm sheet of sand.
The sea of sapphires whispers as I sleep beneath the golden sun, daydreaming of golden days by the pool and my dog surfing.
The sharp caaaaawwww! of a sea gull rips the air and I jolt awake to inhale the scent of salt and taste the warm summery blueness of the sea.

The summer air feels as soft as cotton candy.
The dune grass snaps lightly on the skin of my legs.
The gentle waves shimmer, calling me upward toward them.
The water rocks me like a baby in her mother's arms.

As I step into the soft sand, my feet sink slowly into silk. As I run to my favorite spot, I set up our towels and umbrella, then run to the salty sea. I splash and run in the squishy, wet sand.
My father dives into the dark ocean and pops up. He beckons with his finger and I run to him, leaving a trail of bubbles along the way. The water is up to my neck and I swim. I see crabs underneath darkness.
Just then, I hear my mother calling me, "It's time to go!"
The water beckons me, but I must leave. Goodbye.
