A lie, and a lesson learned from a dream

Arthur in a Pickle”

By Marc Tolon Brown

At school, Mr. Ratburn tells everybody to hand in their homework, but Arthur didn’t do his. He lies and says that his dog ate it. After that, Mr. Ratburn tells Arthur to imagine he is in a pickle. Arthur falls asleep and dreams that pickle police are chasing him. Some people have pickle hair, pickle toes, pickle ears and pickle noses. When Arthur wakes up, he does his homework.
