The show is really two in one – the first a segment from Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna's 1968 comedy Lovers and Other Strangers, and the second an act by Robert Anderson from a 1967 collection called You Know I Can't Hear You When the Water's Running. In the first, a married couple bicker about whether they're going to have sex; in the second, an older married couple bicker about which of them has forgotten more.
Sarasota actors Don Walker and Jenny Aldrich come across as likable (most of all when they're talking unselfconsciously between the two sketches). But the first of these two pieces – the couple arguing about whether the man is in charge – comes across as beyond dated, and the second one could be shorter by half. U.O.Me2 seems calculated to please only the oldest of Fringegoers – but the 40ish couple in front of me was laughing like crazy. Go figure.
