The short-sleeve, button-front shirt is coming back into play this summer, with designer labels adding their own spin to the often-derided men's shirt.

The short-sleeve, button-front shirt is coming back into play this summer, with designer labels adding their own spin to the often-derided men's shirt.

Here, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine sports a coolly ironic look created by L.A. stylist Aristotle Circa for a "Today Show" performance last summer. Levine, who called it his "Falling Down" look (from the 1993 Michael Douglas movie), rocked a white, short-sleeve button-front by APC, skinny black tie by Dior Homme and black YSL trousers.
