North Broward Prep senior
Season highlights: This was a season that might not have been for Roque-Paskow. After sustaining a double concussion earlier this year playing on the school's soccer team, she returned to play flag football after receiving doctor's clearance. She led Eagles (16-2) to first District 25 championship and first trip to the state tournament. She factored in every score in the Eagles 20-12 victory over Archbishop McCarthy in the state quarterfinals in Tallahassee.
"She's [Roque-Paskow] a special player who has a true passion for it," said North Broward Prep coach Tricia Amrhein. "She's brought the program up and has got the school recognition for it. During her freshman and sophomore years, we were just on the wrong side of it. This is what has really pushed her. She told me at the beginning of the season that this would be our year."
Comment: Roque-Paskow had 53 touchdowns (35 pass TDs, 17 rush TDs, 1 interception return), passed for 2,050 yards, rushed for 1,267 yards and had 14 interceptions. Made season-high four interceptions in 27-7 second round play-in win against Fort Lauderdale. Had nine games with at least three TDs and four games with at least four TDs. Plans on attending Florida State University in fall with an interest in majoring in engineering.
