During the High Holy Days, you get much more of a boost to your spirituality. And you connect with your roots. We had a lot of family die in the Holocaust, but my grandmother attends. It makes me more grateful to be with her. The rest of the year is routine, but the High Holy Days changes that. You can put your essence into it." |
