A World War II-era Navy Grumman Hellcat was discovered in 240 feet of water off Miami Beach by a small submarine, operated by OceanGate of Seattle, Wash. The same sonar technology might someday spot the Amelia Earhart plane or the Flight 19 Navy squadron.
