Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s rosé is Wine Spectator’s best in the world

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, aka “Brangelina,” are arguably one of the world’s most stylish celebrity couples. So it only makes sense that when the duo make a rosé wine, it wins awards and tastes like berries and cream.

Wine Spectator named Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval, No. 84 on its list of the top 100 wines of 2013. And yes, “Jolie-Pitt” is really in the name.

The wine was ranked the highest of any rosé on the list, essentially making it Wine Spectator’s best rosé in the world.

Managing editor Kim Marcus described the wine as “refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream. Drink now.”

The wine was released in March and the first 6,000 bottles sold out within hours. (Also, Wine Spectator said earlier this month that an autographed barrel of Miraval Blanc drew $13,650 at a charity auction in Provence.)

A bottle of Miraval currently retails for between $22.97 and $28.
