New Caramel Apple Oreos at Target. Will you bite?

Just when you thought Nabisco couldn’t possibly think of another Oreo flavor, they did. Select Target stores have started selling packages of Caramel Apple Oreos, Target marketing chief Jeff Jones announced via Twitter Tuesday.

Wasn’t Nabisco satisfied with the mixture of shock and awe brought on by the Reese’s (which also come in minis!), Limeade and Marshmallow Crispy Creme flavors?

And let’s not forget the Watermelon Oreos.

The new Caramel Apple Oreos are made with Golden Oreo vanilla cookies and a duo of caramel cream and green-apple cream fillings.

The Oreos come in 12.2-ounce packages and are being sold for $2.99, reported Brand Eating.

What Jones didn’t mention in his Tweet was how they taste. Maybe a flavor profile similar to those caramel apple lollipops that flood Target shelves during Halloween time?
