Dunkin’ Donuts to open 20 SoCal locations in the next few years

Dunkin’ Donuts is bringing its famous doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches and coffee to the San Fernando Valley and to South Orange County. The company has announced plans to open 20 locations in the next several years.

Dunkin’ Donuts signed a multi-unit store development agreement with two new franchise groups. One will develop 10 locations in the SFV and the other will develop 10 locations in South Orange County.

The Massachusetts-based company has also signed agreements to develop more than 150 new locations all over California, the first expected to open by the end of the year, according to a spokesperson for the company.

In a company release, Dunkin’ Donuts said it is looking for franchise stores to open in Palm Springs, Santa Clarita Valley, Ventura County, Glendale and Burbank. In the next several years, Dunkin’ Donuts could open as many as 1,000 locations in the state.

There are currently three Dunkin’ Donuts location in California at Camp Pendleton, Barstow and San Diego.
