Tea-infused cocktails? Learn how to make them at the American Tea Room on Thursday

American Tea Room's "Tea*Vent" is hours away. From 6 to 8 p.m., L.A. mixologist Matthew Biancaniello will use the retailer's teas in cocktails. Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica is hosting a Women in Wine series on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. Guests will sample three Californian wines from three women winemakers: Kate MacMurray of MacMurray Ranch, Tara Gomez of Kitá Wines and Sarah Gott of Joel Gott Wines. The trio will take the lead in the tasting held in the hotel’s lobby lounge paired with hors d’oeuvres by chef Sven Mede and live music. Tickets are $65 per person at (310) 581-7714. Nancy Silverton and Suzanne Tracht are coming to the Chandelier Room at Santa Anita Park. The end of the horse racing season and beginning of the California Philharmonic summer concert series at Santa Anita Park is upon us, and to celebrate the chefs will be joining the Chandelier Room's consulting chef Christian Page for two events on June 28. The first is from 1 to 6 p.m. and includes cocktails, small bites, live music and horse racing. Tickets for the event are $75 and can be purchased via TicketMob. The second event is from 6 to 10:30 p.m. and will be a multi-course dinner and a show. Silverton and Tracht will prepare a dinner for guests watching the “John Williams and Friends” concert at the park. Tickets are $150 and are extremely limited.
