The last MPK Night Market of the year is coming, just in time for the holiday. Which means that you can start eating even earlier than you thought, specifically on Friday at Barnes Park in Monterey Park. This Holiday Night Market will feature not only the many food and drink vendors that the MPK Night Market has brought in the past, but also a photo booth Santa, an ugly sweater contest and a lot of holiday and Christmas decorations.

Food vendors so far confirmed include: Seoul Sausage, Grilled Cheese Truck and Currywurst. There will also be a beer and wine garden, an art walk, and a farmers market.

The night market will be from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday. Admission is free. 351 N. McPherin Ave., Monterey Park.

Artisanal LA, which has put together many popular markets, is doing its first holiday event. Held on Dec. 6, this event will have six vendor areas throughout Old Town Pasadena. More than 100 craftspeople and artisans will be attending, as will local shops and restaurants. Look for roasted chestnuts and, yes, an appearance from Santa and maybe even some fake snow.

The market is an all-ages free event and will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 6 in Old Town Pasadena, in various locations, including Holly Street, Mercantile Alley and Mills Place.
