Ktown Night Market is hosting a Halloween food festival in Koreatown Oct. 25-26. Sixth Street will be closed from Normandie Avenue to Vermont Avenue to make room for food vendors, pop-up stores, carnival games and more. Participants include Eight Korean BBQ, Ramen Burger, Swirl Potato, Shinsengumi, Seoul Sausage and more. The first 500 guests in costumes each day will receive free gift bags. Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $3, or $5 if purchased the day of the event. The festivities will take place from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. on the 25th and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 26th. 3500 W. 6th St., Los Angeles, www.KTOWNnightmarket.com.

The Outstanding in the Field crew known for its lavish outdoor pop-ups and the dinners it organized at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, will host a meal at County Line South farms in the Coachella Valley Oct. 26. Guest chef Billy Deaver (formerly at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, and now at Mammoth Mountain) will be working with County Line South farmer David Retsky for the menu. Bourbon Steak Los Angeles at The Americana at Brand is hosting a Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch dinner with Macallan and Highland Park Oct. 23. Each of the five courses will be paired with a selection of Scotches. Courses include rillettes of smoked black cod with Macallan 12 year, pan-roasted breast of chicken with Macallan 15 year, Artisan market duck breast with Macallan 18 year, smoked pork belly with Highland Park 18 year and a spiced pumpkin mousse bar with Highland Park 25 year.
